The NEW gate-and more

My handy man aka, hubby Brad, decided that the old gate of my parents wasn't cut in it anymore...so he decided to build a new one. Luckily he had the assistance of the expert do -it -yourselfer, his dad. The new gate looks great-hopefully my parents are happy with it. We sure are! Other than that, there isn't too much going on around here. We are just staying busy with all of our spring projects. The other day I spent a good part of the day in the yard picking weeds. My number one helper came out with me for part of the day. You would have thought that she had never been outside before. While she was playing in the dirt, she noticed a tulip that had fallen off into the dirt. She picked it up and was so excited she kept saying, "Momma, I wuv this!" She repeated that probably a dozen times as she looked at the flowers, and played in the dirt. (guess its been a long winter around here)I think my mom found someone who will finally enjoy working in the yard with her, because she "wuved" it!

I don't have a before, but here is a picture of the new gate taken at the beginning of the adventure. And here is the finished product-well all except for the stain...that is on the list of things to do for this week.

While the boys worked, Grandma also worked hard to get ready for a new semester of school. But she wasn't too busy to cuddle up with her sick grand baby. London went right over and sat on her lap and was asleep within minutes. (this is a rare occurrence)

Yesterday Tawni had Prom-she looked great don't you think? Its fun to be able to see Tawni just grow up to be such an amazing young woman. She is beautiful on the inside and the outside! This is an exciting time for her-its the end of one chapter of life and the beginning of a new.

The other day, daddy let London take Brea on a stroller ride. As you can see, she is too big for the stroller, but they both seemed to have a good time. Brea loves her big sister regardless of what she puts her through. London doesn't have to work at all to get her to smile or to talk to her. She will come up to her and say, "Hi Brea," and Brea is grinning from ear to ear. Its cute to see them interact.

What fun pictures! I love the new gate and I am sure that your parents will too. Way to go Brad. Does he want to come out to Ga and build be an entire fence with gate. There is free food and drinks in it for him!!
I love the dress that Tawni wore to prom. She looks beautiful as always. Hope she had fun.
I remember putting Ava in the stroller for Makayla a few times. They both loved it. And now that I am getting more and more of the baby items out of storage, I am finding them both in the bouncer, swing, cradle and anything else they might get into.
Your girls are adorable and I can not wait to see them in a few months.
