Why?

  1. Why does Brea's nose run, and run, and run? I mean seriously this has been going on now for two months! I have nicknamed her snot machine.
  2. Why does my hair refuse to grow? AND where has my natural curl gone? (I think having babies had something to do with this)
  3. Why do some newborns sleep better than my 12 month old? (Ok I may have some idea as to why she doesn't)
  4. Why is it so dang cold outside...o degrees. Are you kidding me?
  5. Why didn't I start my Christmas shopping earlier?
  6. Why doesn't my house stay clean for more then an hour? and... where does all this laundry come from?
  7. Why does London wait way too long to go to the bathroom?
  8. Why does my cheek bone hurt so bad that I cant' move my mouth from right to left without making a popping sound?:( Ouch!

The answer....I don't know, but if that is the worst of my "why's" then we are doing pretty good! I am in no way upset or down about these questions-there just on my mind.

When Makayla was little she had a runny nose and congestion for so long that the doctor had be switch to soy formula and it cleared up almost instantly. As far as the other things I have no ideas. I have many of my own why questions myself.

The popping is likely a result of stress ... use warm moist heat on each side for 15 minutes before bed (over the TMJ) and take two asprins and chew a soft diet for two weeks. No chewing gum at all. Usually the discomfort associated with the pops will subside. Here's another trick that can help: as you are falling asleep at night, at the point just before you go off into dreamland, make sure your teeth are not touching top and bottom ... make sure they are disarticulated. This will often stop habit of clenching one's teeth while sleeping. If this persists than get a night guard made. Nearly all young mothers need to wear a nightguard while sleeping ... kids are stressful.
